Hope to See You There, a new initiative to help combat the feeling of isolation felt by many in the Providence community after the COVID-19 Pandemic. The movement seeks to celebrate the return of the Providence community and culminates in a call to action for members of the community to become beacons in order to welcome newcomers to the city, help those who have been on a pause reemerge, and to be a friendly face and safe person in the crowd, all through the symbol of a button hand illustrated by local designers Julia Brough and Aprile Hodgekins.
The launch celebration will be the first opportunity for community leaders and members to get their buttons. There will be a performance by the Providence Drum Troupe and the Burgundian Food Truck will be on site.
