PVD World Music

PVD World Music Series returns to 195 District Park on May 2nd and will run until October 2024. The events feature traditional and fusion global sounds and dance performed by performers from all over the world who call Providence and New England home. The concerts, as in previous years, feature indigenous music histories and customs that have been passed down orally from generation to generation for thousands of years with special focus on traditional African and African Diaspora music and dance performances. The concerts provide an opportunity to learn more about the colorful arts of Africa and its diaspora.

The concerts will go from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. 

There will be rotating food trucks at each event and cold beer will be available at The Guild PVD Beer Garden.

August 1st - Zach Malian Trifecta featuring Zach Malian on drums, Luke Seto on tenor, and Johnny Santini on bass

September 11th- The Lost Tribe and The Z-Boys
