What happens when everyone wins in musical chairs? What happens when you offer a space for everyone to play - and puzzle - together? Puzzical Chairs & Pie with Live Music by Skyjelly!
This event reimagines the childhood game of musical chairs where, when the song suddenly stops, everyone competes for a chair, with one person left chairless in each round. But, during the 10+ rounds of Puzzical Chairs, when a Skyjelly song ends, everyone still has a seat at the puzzle table with a side of free, yummy pie…plus live music from local Middle Eastern blues-rock-funk innovators, Rick Lescault, Scott Levesque, and Paul Laurenco. And there’s always more room for newcomers.
This is how the event producers, Puzlkind Jigsaw Puzzles artists Rani MacNeal and Sarah Jane Lapp, envision a path to world peace, piece by piece. MacNeal and Lapp offer this joyful, inclusive, whimsical, family-friendly, and FREE community event. Get ready for an afternoon that delights the senses, stimulates the mind, and encourages everyone to meet someone new! Participants will be matched with an initial puzzle partner to assemble an original Sarah Jane Lapp 24-piece jigsaw puzzle for the duration of a song. When the song changes, partners and puzzles change, too! Delicious local Scialos County Bakery pocket pies will be provided for free to the first 100 puzzlers.
